When I was given the opportunity to purchase this Agency, I imagined an agency where the client would come first. I wanted to help clients prepare for the unexpected, to be able to help them lessen the traumatic effects of inevitable disasters and uncontrollable events that often happen in life. I wanted an agency where anyone – no matter their station in life – could walk in or call, talk to a knowledgeable agent, and get the answers to any and all questions.

I wanted an agency with friendly and helpful service that will keep up with our clients and monitor when their policies change and why. Anytime a client would like for me to review their insurance to see if there are changes we need or want to make, I am willing to do it – all it takes is a phone call to schedule it!

Ashley is a 2003 graduate of Woodland High School. She has 9 years of experience in the Insurance Industry, joining the VanGennip Insurance Agency in 2015. Ashley met the love of her life in 2008, Chase Robins. She and Chase are the proud parents of two very active and athletic boys, Layton and Lance. They spend most of their free time at sporting events cheering them on. In addition, they both volunteer with community fund raising events that support local sports for the youth, and other local Charity benefits and events.

Ashley understands the demands of raising a family and working full time. She understands the importance of getting the most for your money and is dedicated to finding the best possible price and insurance coverage for her clients. She will do her best to serve her clients in every way possible.

Katie is originally from of St. Louis. She met her husband Charles in 1997. She and Charles have two children, Coby and Kylie.  She is very active with her outside life with volleyball and Girl Scouts. In her free time, Katie loves to read and spend time with her family playing board games.

Katie began her career in the insurance industry not long after moving to Cape Girardeau. With over 20 years of experience and having worked with a few different agencies, Katie has a plethora of knowledge and strong customer service skills.
